Who cares about the price anyways?

This is not an insightful BLAB...but it is good news. We don't have to worry about price anymore. Radiohead has taught us a big lesson. Prior to the launch of their new album, In Rainbows, Radiohead decided to let their fans decide how much to pay to purchase the album download. And so it happened, 1.2 Million downloads only in the first week! (Average price: $8). What is happening to the (marketing) textbook 4Ps!?

how i really wish all artists did the same... In my opinion...for these world renowned artists...recorded music must not yield such enormous profits. What really must be the major income for these artists is concerts...live performances, since it is dead easy for anyone to just produce a pleasurable audio cd with no real music/performing talent whatsoever...On the other hand it is only the few that can really give great performances and have what it takes to be real artists.
